We’re here to build confident, happy children through dance—and we’re so glad you’re joining us for the journey.

🔒 Keeping Everyone Safe – Our Locked Door Policy
We want every child to feel safe, settled, and ready to dance. That’s why we operate a locked door policy during class times.

Please arrive 5 minutes early so your child is ready when the door is unlocked.

Be ready to collect your child 5 minutes before the end of class so we can keep transitions smooth and timely.
Once class begins, our teachers are focused fully on the children, so we’re not able to leave the studio to reopen the door. Thank you so much for helping us keep everyone safe, calm, and focused—it really does make a difference 💛
Oasis Centre Location Thursday & Friday Important Info
Just a quick note—there’s no waiting onsite at our Oasis Centre due to the IT suite in the foyer, so please plan accordingly.
💳 How Billing Works

All class fees are paid via Direct Debit.

Payments are taken at the end of the month (around the 30th/31st) and cover the following month.
(E.g. Payment on 30th September covers October classes.) -
Payments are spread equally over 11 months—no payment is taken in August.

If the payment date falls on a weekend or holiday, it will process on the next working day (this is standard with Direct Debits).
Optional extras like shows, exams, and competitions are not included in class fees—you’ll receive a separate invoice if you choose to take part.

👕 Uniform & Dance Shoes
Looking the part helps dancers feel the part—and that’s where our uniform comes in!
Many of our dancers wear our signature red Lane’s Dance Academy T-shirt with pride. It’s comfy, confidence-boosting, and brings a real sense of belonging—especially on performance days!
Dance shoes also help children move more freely and safely in class. They’re:

Once ordered, dance shoes are delivered class, printed items come directly to your door!

Dance classes are just the beginning. At Lane’s, your child will have access to a world of exciting, confidence-building opportunities—open to all dancers, no matter their level. All are optional should you wish your dancer to take part. If classes are enough then no pressure from us!
🎭 Annual Theatre Show
Watch your child light up the stage in beautiful costumes, dancing under real theatre lights—an unforgettable memory for the whole family.
🎪 Public Performances
Parades, local events, community festivals—like the Denton Carnival—your dancer can join in the fun and shine in front of a cheering crowd.
🎖 UKA Assessment Medals
Dancers showcase their progress for an official examiner and receive stunning medals and plaques—celebrated at our fabulous annual Presentation Evening.
🎯 Specialist Workshops
From West End performers to our ever-popular Aerial Hoop Day, we bring in guest experts to inspire and excite your child.
🏆 Competitions
Fun and friendly Ballroom & Latin or Cheer Dance competitions—perfect for growing confidence and trying something new. All levels welcome!

Your child collects stamps every class. Once one side is full, their card goes into our Prize Box for a chance to win something amazing!

Given for effort, progress, or great behaviour—each WOW card comes with a personal note and an extra prize draw entry.
🎁 Twice-Yearly Prize Draws
We draw prizes before Summer and Christmas. Grand prizes worth over £50, plus runner-up goodies!

👋 Meet the Team Behind the Magic
At Lane’s Dance Academy, we’re not just dance teachers—we’re passionate educators who care deeply about your child’s confidence and progress.
Victoria – Principal
With a PGCE in Dance & Performing Arts, Victoria taught and performed globally for 12+ years before opening Lane’s. She also lectures dance at leading colleges and universities across the North West.
Her passion? Helping children come out of their shell through movement and joy.

Loves: Afternoon tea, dogs, theatre, and her daughter Penelope.
Andy – Principal
Andy has danced on some of the world’s biggest stages (and all 7 continents!). With over 30 years of experience and a UKA teaching qualification, he’s worked with celebrities and teaches from ages 5 to professional level.
Loves: Theatre, music, and a sunny day at the driving range.
Lauren – Dance Teacher
Teaching Thursdays and Fridays at Oasis, Lauren brings warmth, fun, and focus to every session. She has a versatile dance background and is loved by students of all ages.
Loves: Dogs, Modern Family, and playing board games with her family.
