About Victoria
Victoria started dancing at the age of 6 as a Freestyle Disco Dancer reaching & competing at championship level by the age of 12. Victoria also competed on the Open Latin American circuit under the coaching of Keith Clifton. At the age of 18 Victoria went on to train professionally gaining a Professional Diploma in Musical Theatre at BodyWork Cambridge Performing Arts. Sky has been the limit for Victoria since graduating at the age of 21 she went onto having a solid career in the Professional Dance Industry for 11 years for the majority of which, as a loyal Dance Captain to Qdos Productions and Choreographer Alan Harding. Recently Victoria has been part of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing backing dancer team for their Strictly Cruises and also assistant choreographer to Alan Harding for his show premiering on Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 - Rhythm of the Night. Victoria is also a guest teacher at some of the top studio’s in Central Manchester including KNT Dancework’s, Shockout Arts, Centre Point and Northern Ballet School. Some of Victoria’s other credits include : 5 years Dance Captain Celebrity Cruises, Original Cast UK Tour Puttin’ On The Ritz, International Tour China Hooray For Hollywood, Dance Star Asia Singapore, Simply Ballroom Singapore, Yearly Qdos Pantomimes, Barclaycard Arena The World’s Biggest Pantomime. Victoria & Andy also have their own Ballroom & Latin Show Dance Demonstrations which they perform worldwide. Victoria has had an amazing time traveling the world with her career and is now extremely excited to have her own dance school with her husband and pass on all her knowledge to the next generation of dancers. |
About Andy
Andy began his training in Ballroom and Latin American dancing at the age of six. He soon started competing both locally and nationally winning many titles along the way. At the age of nineteen he started working professionally in theatres, arenas and also on television. Most recently Andy has performed alongside many stars of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing as part of the BBC’s Strictly at Sea Program. Andy’s got his first professional performance job as an original cast member of Simply Ballroom, choreographed by Anton Du Beke and Erin Boeg. This very successful show did several UK tours, 2 tours of America, South Africa, Dubai, Singapore and a years residency in the Golden Nugget Casino Las Vegas. One of Andy’s career highlights was during the 2 American tours when he had the privilege to partner Hollywood Icon Debbie Reynolds within the show. He learned a lot discussing dance fundamentals and enjoyed hearing first hand about Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire from someone who worked and trained with them. Andy has performed on TV worldwide. Some credits include Dance Star Asia, Singapore’s version of Strictly. As a coach he taught and performed with model Stephanie Carrington, where they reached the final of the series. He also performed on the Jerry Lewis Telethon live from Las Vegas to 80 millions viewers and also back in England on ITV’s This Morning. Andy’s next adventure took him to the seas spending 5 years working for Celebrity Cruises in partnership with Qdos Entertainment. As a featured dancer he performed in over 11 full production shows. Dancing so many different shows with different styles helped Andy become a more rounded complete performer. Through a great relationship with Qdos, he had a lot of input in creating many numbers around his specialty in Ballroom and Latin. Other credits include Puttin’ on the Ritz - UK, along side several stars of Strictly Come Dancing including Robin Windsor and Kristina Rihanoff. Hooray For Hollywood - China. Several pantomimes for Qdos Entertainment and also in the worlds largest pantomime at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham. P&O Cruises, teaching passengers and performing in showcases with Victoria. Now Andy has finished all his travels he is passionate to pass on his knowledge and love of dance. |
